How-to information on embedding presentations

Page history last edited by Kimberly McCollum 15 years, 3 months ago

There is more than one way to get a presentation embedded on the wiki, but this is one of the easiest:

Step 1

  1. After you finish creating your presentation in PowerPoint, upload your presentation to Google Docs.
  2. Click on the "Share" tab in Google Docs and choose the "Publish/Embed" option.
  3. Copy the embed code given.

Step 2

  1. Log into the Teaching for Technology wiki.
  2. Type in the title of your presentation on the Gospel Insights Presentation page.
  3. Highlight your title and then click the Hyperlink button in the menu (It looks like the Earth with a link of a chain in front of it).  Click OK.
  4. Save your edits to the wiki page.
  5. Click on the link you just created for your Presentation and OK the creation of a new page with that name.
  6. Click on the button that says "Source" .
  7. Paste in the embed code from Google Docs.
  8. Click on the button that says "Source" to return to regular editing window.
  9. Type in an introductory paragraph to give some context to your presentation.
  10. Save all of your changes.  Congratulations, you are now done with your Gospel Insights Presentation.
